How much do inspectors typically cost? How much is too much?
What key things should an inspector look for?

I realize that if the property has plumbing or heating problems one should not consider the property. What problems would the buyer be able to overlook and purchase anyway?

What key things should an inspector look for?Inspectors range in prices between 300 and 400 dollars depending on the size of the home. I don't know if anyone thing is more important then the other but I would want to know if the home has lead based paint, mold issues, electrical issues, or any other possible fire hazards.

This is something that no one can answer, only yourself. What is important to you might not be important to the next person, and vice versa. If it were me I might over look cosmetic stuff and just ensure I had a goof foundation. That also depends on what kind of deal I might be getting as well.
